Principal Nichols Lois Ancell-Nichols is not new to St. Paul's Lutheran School. She taught 3 & 4-year-old preschool from 1978-1979 and also taught 1st grade in 1979. She was part-time school secretary and part-time music teacher from 1990-1995. She directed two musicals per year and participated in Tri-State, often earning 1's. Lois directed two youth choirs as well, one for the younger grades and one for the older grades. They sang during church services twice per month.
Since 1996 Lois has lived in Springfield, OR teaching both 4th & 5th grades. She is also on the math cadre and is the math team facilitator for her school. In addition, she has four years experience writing for the Oregon State Math Assessment and three years experience on the Teaching American History Grant.
Her education includes a B.A. in Education with minors in English and Political Science, a Master of Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Leadership and 63 additional graduate hours.
Lois is very excited to be moving back to Enid and cannot wait to start interacting with the students, getting to know the parents and working to grow and revitalize St. Paul's Lutheran School.
